    I just purchased a hammer coral and a colony of candy canes. The candy canes are doing great and everything else in my tank is fine, but what worries me is how the hammer is acting :/ I had it in the middle of the tank but I just recently moved it to the sand bed... its been about 3 hours since its been in the tank and here's how its looking...

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Not an unusual response to new placement. Always check all parameter when in doubt. Leave it in one place for the day and see if it opens.

    I recently bought a hammer and It took two days to fully open. Now its doing great
