    i had a algea bloom i have been leaving my light on to long. i bought a bottle of sat water conditioner. will that help me out? matt advised earlyer to get a cansiter filter but i have to save up for a good one. will that help as well?

    dano, How old is your tank. New tanks will experience many algae blooms in the first 3-8 months, some times longer. If you are using RO/DI water and your nitrate and phosphate levels are good you may want to wait it out.
    I would ask several question here, but would ask you to go to you profile and add you tank specs like you see in the bottom of my post. That way you will not be asked every time you have a question, what you lights are how big is your tank etc.

    i Have a 55 gallon with a standard floerescent lamp. 20 Pounds of live rock two dominos and 2 yellow tails. the tank is about 3 weeks old with ro water.
