    So I just bought a new piece of LR about a wk ago and today I've noticed little piece of what looks like hair algae growing everywhere. What do I do?

    If its a rock on top take it out and scrub it down with a plastic scrubber. That's what I do it prevents pieces from floating around and landing in hard to reach places.
