how are you water parameters like Nitrate, PH, SG.
It could be just do to the fact that your PH and SG is a lot different than the tank they were in before yours.

Mine did that for about a week after I got it, and then it opened up just fine. Assuming all of your water parameters are okay, I would not worry too much about it.

think they might have to get use to the new lights.I changed my light from 65k to20k and my clams took awhile to open up again.so maybe your lights are more stronger them the lps

Be weary, mine opened up the very next day (my parameters are perfect) and opened up even more when I upgraded my lights. You should dip it Kent's coral dip just incase it's infested with stuff. You can also entice it to come out by squirting zooplankton juice or filter feeding food.

Like every else said, you should test your parameters. Green stars are very hardy.

Try moving the Star Polyps to another place in the tank.
May be unhappy where it is now or next to another coral causing it to stay closed.
