Over the past two weeks I've had a little bit of an ich problem :p. After reading alot of these posts and talking to a few fish locations around my area. I have bought 1 cleaner shrimp, replace filters, added garlic to there food. So far all is good. The only problem I am having is that the water has a greenish tint to it, and it won't go away. any Ideas? The onlythings i'm running are 2 hangover type filters and a gravel filter.

    Thanks in advance

I run a canister in addition to my sump/fuge. The only media in my canister is the carbon, no floss or anything. I keep it for carbon and extra system water only. My water is crystal clear. It may help you out too.

That happened to me after my cleaning lady cleaned the outside glass with windex. I had to buy a UV filter to get rid of the green water and it took about 2-3 days. Hope this helps. Luna
