green bubble tip

    I was at my lfs this weekend and seen a green bubble tip anemone. It didn't look like other ones I've seen where they have t entices this one was like flat and just had bubble tips sticking up maybe a quarter inch not long tentecales is there something wrong with it or is that normal?

    Are you certain that it was a green bubble-tip? The rock flower anemone is flat with short, beaded tentacles. If it was in fact a GBTA, what type of lighting was it under? FWIW, the bubbled tentacles themselves are a deformity from intense lighting. :)

    I would say that definitely looks like a bubble tip but it appears to be very bleached

    It still has pretty good color the pics make it looked bleached though. What would cause the tentcles to get this short

    Starvation, absorbing the tentacles is the anemones last chance/attempt to survive.
