I have a green look on my live rocks no thick but you can see the green when my daylight goes on
Hi and welcome.
It could possibly be just green film algae, not a bad thing.
welcome to 3reef! We would need a little more information to help you out in terms of whether it's a problem or not. Algae is always going to be present in a reef tank
A photo would be helpful. Could be coralline- in my current tank, new growth is green, then it turns purple as it matures.
Ill post a photo if it. My ammonia 0, PH 8.0, Phosphate 0, Alkalinity 2.5 . I try keeping it
as clean as possible.
I do add purple tech once a week and do have coralline growing on the bottom of tank (no substrate) so it could be as you say about having some green algae before the coralline grows. didn't know that would happen.
The green coralline appears to me to be almost florescent green.
Help in know to this how do i post a picture
