So my green acropora has been growing well for quite a while. Suddenly some green algae has begun growing on some branches of the corals. Coral still has live tissue and good p/e. Should I remove the algae with something like a tooth brush or just leave it alone?

Ill try to get a pic in the morning.

You typically don't see algae growing on SPS unless it is growing on its skeleton. A healthy coral can regrow over the dead area covered in algae. A picture would definitely help either way.
