Got Ich .

Has anybody heard of or used Herbtana to get rid of Ich. That is what my fish tank store gave me to get rid of it. Just wondering if anyone has used it . It has not been on the market very long. They just started carrying it a month ago.

Three scientifically proven methods to erradicate Marine Ich. All other products do not contain enough copper or formalin to be effective, and herbal is snake oil IMO.

Best you thing you can do is enhance the diet and do it quickly with garlic, selcon or equiv. Hopefully that will boost the immune system and you may get by without having to be more aggressive.

 

I started using garlic 2 days ago and my clown fish has been a little more active since i started adding garlic.

 

If he is eating that is a good sign.

 

4 days ago he would put the food in his mouth and just spit it out. Now he eats about half and spits some out.

 

If you can post a picture of him do.

My concern would be if he is hiding, fins are clamped and frayed or he is breathing heavy and not eating. Those are all very bad signs for a fish with Marine Ich.

 

On a different subject, if one of my snails die, can i leave it in there or should i take it out?

 

If he is easy to get to, othewise I would just leave it in unless this was a huge turbo or margarita snail. Your clean up crew should take care of it in short order.

 

He is still kinda hiding but coming out a lot more.

29 gallon nano-cube pretty easy to get to. It was a margarita snail.
