    Don't really know exactly what that is, but it has all of the characteristics of a crab that you don't want in a reef tank-hairy, serrated claws, seems pretty big.

    Do you have a sump? He may be able to live in there. Did he hitchhike in? If not how'd you get him?

    How did you catch him? I have one too but mine is more black and the claws aren't harry. He moves too fast to catch even with BBQ tongs. I was thinking about putting a piece of shrimp in the bottom of a plastic container to see if he'd go for the bait. I'm afraid that my hermits will all go for it too and then I'll find a huge crab and a bunch of empty shells in the morning.

    I caught mine by baiting a small glass jar and propping it on the rock that he lived. In a few hours I had him.
