Good or bad?

    Any idea what kind of Macroalgae is this. Grows fast over las couple months like a leave shape. Just one . It was hard to remove but I put it in sump until you guys maybe help me ID it. Thanks.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !

    It could be Halymenia duchassaigni. It is difficult to ID an algae out of water sometimes. I doubt it's very invasive. Algae need two things, light and nutrients so make sure your nitrates and phosphates values are in line and you should not experience too much unwanted algae growth.

    Thanks. My Phosphates are 0 and Nitrates 2. I'm not worry about this. Just wondering. It is kind of nice. I watched it for last 2 months maybe how it grows. Pretty cool...maybe I should leave it there...now it is in my sump...It's just that one. Will see if it's start growing in the same spot. It was salat leaf, but rubbery in touch and very slicky. Hard to undo from rock too... Thanks again
