I wanna catch all my fish for my tank right out of the ocean, but I'd like to avoid fish who are going to eat all other inhabitants of my tank, grow too fast, or carry lots of parasites. any suggestions?

be careful with laws. You can be fined over 6 thousand dollars if you take out the wrong fish

Quarantine your fish as well to avoid possible parasites etc. from being introduced into your aquarium.
You are going to want to avoid Sea Robins, Bass, Grouper and other large predatory fish. Google like LUNA pointed out should help and yes, be aware of laws regarding the capture and collecting of fish, and other forms of wild life.
