I'm wanting to really start stocking the coral in my tank and I'm gonna try to do a combo LPS/SPS tank. I have most SPS now. But I'm wondering what are suggestions to have close together? I know that with some coral they battle in some chemical warfare and I want to avoid that haha.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Duncan corals are fairly benign towards all other corals. Most of the Euphyllias can go close to each other but not close to the SPS. Avoid, Hydnophora, Pavona and Galaxea if real estate is limited.

Maybe some brain corals: favids, acans etc. for the sand bed.

Candy cane/trumpet coral work well too.

Ok, thanks for the input. How about SPS? I'm wanting to get a pretty heavy stock on my rock work.

Typically corals of the same genus go good together, with a few exceptions.

I have two different monti's already. They are easy but they grow so fast that they take over and I have to constantly trim them back so they don't spread over all my rock scape ha.

I have one neon orange ricorida and was wondering if I could get a few more in different colors and put them next to each other or will they sting each other if they touch?
