Good aquarium stores in CT???

    My local is quite expensive and doesn't always carry products or cleaning crews. I live in CT in the Bridgeport area. Please help.

    I'm living in New Canaan right now and I go to Westport Aquarium in Westport or House of Fins in Greenwich. You'll pay Fairfield County prices at both, but they're good shops with knowledgable staffs.
    Also, I've got some green star polyp, kenya tree coral and pulsing xenia frags if you're interested in trading...
    Glad to see someone else from CT on 3reef!

    Also, check out Just Phish
    JP is in Waterbury and a fellow 3reefer. I've met him to pick up livestock before. Great guy to deal with...

    Fin and Feather in the Groton/New London area
    Many good pet shops located centrally in Connecticut such as :
    Puppy Center in West Hartford
    Aquarium Conservation in Cromwell
    Pet R' Rama in Southington(rt.10)
    Exotic pet in East Hartford
    Aquatic Wildlife and Wet Pets in the Vernon/Manchester area!
    You will have good luck with them and their selection and decent sales staff!

    A Great fish store in NY off of 84 is Fishtopia ! Very big reef guys !excellent prices ! 845 896 7555 . I live in westchester, but drive 50 min to go there! they know there fish and corals !

    I realize this is an ancient thread but I was wondering the same thing. I will be travelling to visit a friend down in Groton, CT tomorrow and will be heading down 91 from Northern MA. I will be passing through Hartford. Any good shops still in business that have nice stock along the general path? Thanks for any tips.
