Thanks for the compliment. I'm running the LEDs 12 hours a day and also power test for the whole day before I hung the light. The LEDs stay cool as normal without fans on. I
Here is my plan to run this fixture
In the winter time I run two metal halides, all LEDs and T5 to avoid using the heater.
In the summer I will run 4xT5 54w and all LEDs without Metal Halide to avoid heat (I'm not using the chiller since my tank is rimless).

Great job, it looks pro! Color in the tank looks amazing.

    All leds are bridgelux?

Thanks for compliment. Yes, all LEDs are 3w bridgelux. I will add 2 more rolls in the center with cool white, violet, Cyan for using with T5 without metal halide in the summer.

Smart choice. I was wondering how you were going to counteract so much PAR loss.

That why I will add two more rolls of the LEDs/more LEDs to replace the Metal Halide during Summer time.

Not sure that be enough to replace the heat that generate by the MH tho, you might end up need a heater if you change that?

and great tank, nice and clean looking build on the light as well good job!!;D

My goal to keep heat down in the Summer that why I do not need to run two metal halide. It's enough to run 4x54 watts T5 and all LEDs in the Summer. My tank is rimless nothing to block the light.
I'm running 2 Metal Halide with all LEDs and T5 now since the weather is getting cold soon. I want the heat up on the winter to warm up my tank. lol
