Can you get garlic to soak food with from the grocery store are only lfs
Yes Grocery garlic is fine and usually cheaper.
How do you soak? Only frozen? What are the benefits?
(sorry to hijack)
You get garlic extract its a liquid. Then just add a couple drops to your food. You can add it to flakes and pellets too. It can entice fish to eat and keep them eating when they have Ick or other diseases which helps keep there immune system up. Some say its is a natural antibiotic, thought I haven't seen any studies on fish. I soak my food and have seen my fish fight off ick with nothing but garlic soaked food, so it does something right.
Would the juice from a jar of diced garlic work?
Yes it might have some water in it too, but it should still work just a little weaker than the extract.
love this topic!!! will save me money... thanks guys!
some diced garlic is in oil, not sure what that would do to the food or water quality....
thanks I wanted to make sure there was nothing special about lfs garlic
