Does anyone soak the dried seaweed in garlic before putting in the tank or has anyone tried it.

i did it once or twice. but stopped because my blenny couldn't make it through the flurry of hungry fish and it needed food the most.

I put on a few drops of the Kent garlic extreme on piece of dried seaweed and let it soak in, once in while, when I think about it. Hey scenario, does your L. Wrasse eat the seaweed off the clip too?

So it does work. LOL It should be good for the tangs to keep their health up right.

I have seen my L.Wrasse take a few nibbles now and then. Odd huh.

At first, yeah, I thought it was odd. But now my wrasse tears it up with the rest of them. So does Casey's, I think.
Now even the pseudochromis takes a few bites off the clip (I'm trying to ween it off of eating decorative tank shrimp :whip:

Yup, the psuedochromis eats flakes now too, so that's kept it away from the fireshrimp for now.
Anyhow, garlic on the seaweed and broccolli will fatten that yellow tang up nicely. Is it at least picking at the rocks yet?

All three tangs are eating off the clip already and so are my saddleback clowns. How crazy is that.

My leopard wrasse loves seaweed and greens. It also eats coraline algae. I always soak my seaweed/nori before I add it to the tank. I use the clip for brocoli and I tear the nori into pieces and add with other foods.
