and so the great debate continues...

The only other thing I can think of is to agitate it and see if the polyps retract completely inside of the "stalks" or if the entire thing shrinks/ closes. I know when my gorgonian was happy it looked like fuzzy sticks, when it was agitated it looked like "non-fuzzy" sticks. A kenya tree will just shrivel, but still look a small shriveled version of what it was.

 

Yeah my Kenya tree looks like cauliflower at night but a maple tree in the day time

 

The polyps retract completely, I haven't bothered it but I've seen it closed before

 

Regardless it's insane the speed at which it's growing!

 

It must like something you are doing. I had mine for a few months and while it grew, it wasn't that quick. It may be due to the fact that it is smaller than what mine was, so maybe the growth is more noticeable?

 

well done! I dont know exactly which one of the Euniceas it is but its definitely getting closer.
