No picture, no idea of "quality" - but they are very good about giving reliable advice there.

Couple of "options" I may consider because I intend to include existing light system, which I think is very good...

I've got two Hamilton 175 watt MH ballasts using 10,000k bulbs I retro fitted into my tank hood.  I supplement with 80 watts of Actinic.  My MH are not pendents and I have a dimpled polished aluminum reflector.

    INFORMATION OVERLOAD!!!

Big problem with this hobby is just tooo much info readily available. - plus sooo many "options"

Have to give brain a break...

"Thoughts" of new lighting led to "Thoughts" of new tank, which lead to needs to upgrading skimmer, etc, etc.

Much to much, to fast to soon, am going into "hibernation" for a couple of months...

I don't use MH lights but will some day.

I read somewhere recently the Blue ballast (or something like that) have a new ballast out that will use several different bulbs on one ballast. I think it was at champion lighting web page. I will go check....

I just have heard what you have heard about them working on a lot of different bulbs.

Oh.. also that they run cooler and more efficiently than other ballasts.

There is a good link on ballasts in the links section, does it include e-ballast?
