I haven't been on in a while and bought a kenya tree about a 5 weeks ago and it has doubled in size sense I've gotten it . And its getting too big for my tank. I was wonder if there is a way to trim it and the put the trim piece in my other aquarium? I never fragged before and don't want to kill it. Any help would really help.[IMG]

Cut it with a razor and attach it to a small rock with a rubber band.

hmmmm interesting. You can frag off whatever piece you would like and use a rubberband/rock or coral glue? Mine is growing like a weed in my 20 gallon and I'm going to need to do the same thing.

Yes, with leather and tree corals, you can cut off as much, or as little, or as many pieces as you want, affix the frags to plugs, rocks, or rubble and they will heal and grow. The mother coral will heal, as well.

You do not want to glue them as that can be fatal. Use rubber bands or netting and they will attach themselves as they heal.

Ah ok thanks! Will definitely avoid using coral glue then and thanks for the heads! Didn't mean to hijack your thread 99, but I will be in the same exact boat as you are now.
