Frag Tank Questions

I'm setting up a 55 Gallon frag tank.

It will contain mushrooms, zoas, rics, softies, LPS, and SPS ... since I own a mixed reef.

The light is a 48" 4x54 T-5 system.

Tank dimensions are 48x13x20H

Obviously the T-5's will not be enough light to grow SPS on the bottom.

I will need to build some eggcrate shelves on the inside.

I'm looking for help with height recommendations.

Zoanthids will be the most plentiful frag, followed by SPS.

What heights should each go at. Would you put zoas right on the bottom, or try to elevate those as well?

What do you have? Pics? how is your system set up?

 

Zoas will do fine near the bottom. In fact mine are spreading the fastest in the shade of a toadstool near the bottom.
