food for maroon clown?

    what is the best possible varied diet for a maroon clownfish.:confused:

    it is going to be in a 45 gallon with a dwarf fuzzy lion, Ghoul sting-fish, and a cockatoo waspfish. im also going to keep some sps corals and soft corals so the clown has places to hide(ex. frogspawn)!;D

    I like to feed my clowns frozen mysis, blood worms, live brine, frozen brine, silver sides cut into tiny pieaces and also roggers reef food, and sometimes if its on sale ill pick up some whole shrimp,octo, or scallops at publix for them. Yea my fish are spoiled lol

    LOL! Yes.. yes they are, Newreef15! If reincarnation existed, I'd wanna come back as a Clownfish in your tank. :)

    Clowns are not fussy eaters and can thrive on most anything, including the typical frozen brine/mysis combo.

    my maroon doesnt take frozen mysis and loves flakes :angry:.... occasionally i feed it frozen shrimp from grocery store, one time it took a HUGE piece and almost choked it, didn't move for a few hrs while trying to swallow
