food for duncan

    Hi i got a a two poylp duncan today . I know they are photosynthetic but also "eat" just wondering if anyone who has one recommends a certian food type/ brand I plan on using reef snow but i meant more along the lines of what type of plankton and shrimp are they attracted to ?

    I just got a Duncan with like 17 heads(for 30 bucks) and I feed mine brine shrimp with an eye dropper.. They love em by the looks of it!!! Could prob feed bigger stuff
    tho I reckon? What do others recommend?

    i used to feed mine meaty foods such as brine mysis krill stuff like that, crab meat

    When i received my duncan's they were 3 little heads on a plug. Fed them small pieces of silversides. Now they have doubled in size and have 3 "baby heads" growing on them in about 2 months time. Now i feed them bigger pieces of silversides lol

    I feed mysis (Piscine Energetics and Hikari brands) and Rod's Food.

    my 4duncan heads multipied to 15 in a yr feeding rods food from a turkey bastor.i saw them eat mysis as well

    just an update i tried feeding my duncan mysis today. He was not taking it but i think he is still getting acclimated to his new home so ill give it about a week before i try to force feed hiom again thanks for all the input.

    I have a 4 head (initially) that is now about 11 heads.... I feed it mysis from a turkey baster or pieces of krill when im feeding my candy canes or bubbles.

    I actually would like to get more duncans...I like them alot.

    just fed my 8 headed colony brine shrimp yesterday for the first time. afterwards they unbuckled their belt and yelled " yyyyyyuuuuuummmmmmmyyyyyyy"
