I currently have a Magnum 350 in my 90 gallon and it just doesn't seem to be doing that great of a job. I don't really want to get into the wet-dry thing so I was considering either the Fluval 404 or the Dual Bak-Pak 2. Any suggestions/reviews on this or maybe a different idea? Thanks.

Just alittle more info on SF's situation. She is running a FOWLR tank and had a ammonia spike a while back. She is concerned about biological filtration and is looking for a solution.

SF do you have any LR in tank right now? She only had a few pounds but I think she has removed it all.

I'm not too Sorry for Hi-jacking your post [smiley=uzi.gif]

We're able to have that smily as the assualt weapon ban is up for renewal :)

I would go with the dual backpak, you'll get way more benifit from the combo, then the fluval, PLUS, its way easier th use and maintain.

No, LR is still in the QT. Store told me that it holds Ich so I was just playing it safe.
Am I wrong for being cautious with it? Let me know, please and thank you.

Ummm,  did the store tell you whether they tried to treat the rock themselves?

    My apologies, I misunderstood :)

So the rock was not exposed to any copper teatment, is that correct?
