Was wondering if clay pots were okay to use in a planted tank? I thought the clay would leach out into the water? Just wanted an answer to this one because I am reading different things everywhere...

All I can tell you is that I use to use the orange clay pots (tarra-cotta sp?) for my clown fish to lay eggs on. worked every time and nothing *seemed* to go amiss. But I have no scientific knowledge on the subject.....just can tell you that I had pots in my tank for several months at a clip without issue.
