    I have a 40 gallon breeder with

    2 occy clowns
    1 scooter blenny
1 Yellow Tail Damsel (for sale on CL lol)
    1 Flame angel

    Ordinary CuC
1 Coral Banded Shrimp (for sale on CL as well)
    1 Emerald crab
    1 Peppermint Shrimp

    Kenya Trees
    Green and Red Shrooms
    2 kinds of Zoas
    Palys

    Some type of Macro Algae

I lost my McCosker's wrasse a few hours ago. He showed no signs of distress and was eating fine. Just a few minutes ago, my wife noticed the my flame angel was laying on the sand, but not dead. I netted it and moved it my wife's BC14. I know, way to small of a tank for an angel. I will post my params here in a few. I have 5 gallons of water mixing right now so I can do a PWC ASAP.

Any suggestions in the mean time would be greatly appreciated. I did completely rearragne my tank today as far as the rock work goes, so I chalked the death of the wrasse up to stress, but now I think something else is going on. All the fish seem to be acting fine though until they hit the sand.

It probably just scared the fish. Was there much of a sand storm?

It wasn't to bad, I could still see the back of the tank. My corals are opening up as well.

Wow this is horrible :( it must have to do something with rearanging your rock structure, did you take the rocks out of the water? Are the corals open right now?

I just moved the rocks to the sides of the tank while I placed them where I wanted them. It didn't take me to long. Could the zoas or paly's released toxins that could've affected the fish?

I think it's probably just coincidence and not the rocks, unless you super stirred up the sand and it released a bunch of nutrients. But probably not. And I doubt it was the palys and/or zoas.

How is the angel acting in your wife's tank?
