fish cave/movie room build thread

here is 3 days worth of nog. this lifereef skimmer is a beast !

 

got some bugs and conchs today. nothing exciting but my cuc needed an update.

so its been like 3 months since i have posted due to working a lot but i finally got some time to work on the tank. i have since sold my idol and regal to a guy with a 700 gallon tank. i can now add corals with out worry of them getting ate. so far i have a green sinularia, colt coral, and some green mushrooms. fish i have are a mystery wrasse, royal gramma, 2 picasso clowns, and two yellow assessors. still would like to add 2 or 3 small 3" inch fish but i am not sure what yet. going to add some more softies and probably a few lps. here is a pic of my aquascaping. i will gladly take some input !

 

very nice! I like "light" rock work aqua-scapes, gives more roaming room for the bigger fish

 

thanks swisswiss, i was not sure if i wanted a rock wall or what i have now. hoping for some gift cards for the holidays so i can go coral shopping !

 

when you do they will have plenty of growing space

 

its been awhile since i posted so here is quick video update. sorry my camera sucks. still converting from a fish only system. so far my fish list is a royal gramma, yellow assessor, flame wrasse pair, bangaii cardinal pair, and a midnight clown pair. i also have several type of soft corals and zoanthid/palys and one acan frag. my lfs has a huge sinularia sp that i am working on getting for the middle of the tank. if anyone has any input i will gladly take some.

 

Looks great chum. Do you plan on doing any SPS in the future?

 

thanks DSC , i may do some in the future. waiting for the kids to move out so i can work less and play more .
