    Good question, this one went back pretty far. I couldn't imagine doing this as a first tank, it seems over whelming even now that i've been at this for nearly 2 years.

    Bart hasn't posted on 3reef since his last post in this thread. He also hasn't posted on RC in a looong time. He was kidding about tearing down the tank here on this thread.

    Yes he really built this tank.

    I tried to track him down a few months ago when I headed to NOLA but couldn't get ahold of him.

    Looks like he actually bought the tank and did not build it.

    I am a stickler when it comes to that because of how much effort it took to make my own big tank.;D

    jeez this is your first tank man? and it beats to heck any tank ive ever laid eyes on holy crap. but within the next few months im planning a shark tank over 3000 gallons, would you suggest the same type of filtration? just a little larger scale?
