Began the journey of changing my 90 gal FOWLR to a reef tank today, got my first coral. Picked up 2 pieces of hammerhead to see how they do. If I manage to keep them alive and maybe even see some growth, I'll start picking up some more LPS and softies. I figure down the road when I figure out what I'm doing, maybe I try my hand at some SPS. Super exciting to see that brilliant greet under the moonlights, even though they look a bit lonely all by themselves...

    Just thought I'd share...

uh oh.....best not keep us ladies waiting :)

Seriously, the first coral is exciting...but so are each and every one you will get from here on out. It's the beginning of a whole new aspect of the hobby. One of the greatest things about 3reef is that every acquisition of coral whether it is your first or your 700th one, is always celebrated with enthusiasm here.

    (and ... requests for pics!)

    enjoy!
