    In person it's obvious that its not a factory made piece but it definitely looks great. My wife can't stop saying how much she likes it. It's VERY sturdy. I think I owe that to the fact that I took it slow and let all the glue dry properly and clamped it as much as I could. Heck, after the paint dried I even but a dab of glue on the threads of each screw for the hinges so they would stay nice and tight.

    So, day two and with the T5 sundial fixture there is no rise in heat at all. I expected this would be the case but didn't know for sure.
