Just a thought...won't the mdf warp over timer? Or are you going to seal it?

Hey thanks! Yeah the 150 build isn't happening now. I decided to make a few improvements to my 46 instead. If I get a bigger tank in the future it would probably be a 90.

Ok, a few more pics. I built a fram to attach my curved front piece of plywood. The wood i'm using is a bit more rigid than the stuff Jwin used so I felt like it needed some more structure than his. One thing I have done with the building of this canopy is that I do one part at a time. I fit it properly then GLUE AND NAIL it together. Then I let it sit for atleast a couple hours so the glue is good and try. The reason I do this is because then everything stays square and you don't mess it up hammering on another piece. Also, I have predrilled almost everything. Whatever piece of wood the nail goes through first gets drilled to prevent splitting the wood. In the next pics you will see the framing I built on the front side and then the 3/16" plywood starting to be attached. I let it go at this because I glued that to the middle board and want that glue to set nice before making the curve. Ok, enough blabbing heres the pics:

Sorry about that. Though you probably should have also mentioned that in your OP.;) Looks good so far.

Oh yeah I used super thin ply for my front. Bent around like a wet noodle.

    Looks good :)
