So I was wondering if any of you have ever used this? I got it from reefcleaners and just got it to put me over $50 for free shipping. Any tips or advice on how much? how often? and the best way to put it in the tank? I'm sure John M. will have the best advise! Thanks

I just sent a PM to John @ reefcleaners. I'll post his response here if he doesn't chime in on this thread!

sparingly in a word, b/c it is freeze dried it is 1/10th the weight of frozen food, you should look at that jar as 10 packages of the smaller cubed food, or 3 of the larger 7oz packages. The best way I think to feed is:

Take a small pinch and place it in a 3/4 full plastic cup full of tank water and stir it around. Suck up some of the food/water mixture with a pipette and squirt it back into the cup a few times. This speeds up rehydration. Then just drizzle the food mixture over all your corals with the pipette. Takes some time, and the fish are likely to follow you too, but if you get each polyp some food you will get the best results from the product. I think it is wasteful to baste it in a cloud of food, the pipette does the trick. But if you use a turkey baster just use more dilution or less food. After you feed all your coral if you have extra food use less next time, or more depending on how you end up and you will eventually get a feel for what is the right amount for your tank. - but never use more than just a tiny pinch, that is a lot of food.

assuming the corals aren't non-photosynthetic that require more frequent feedings, 1-3 times a week seems about right.
