being a "newbie", i appreciate any info i can get. with that being said, i just purchased a bubble anemone, along with a peculiar clown. both were introduced yesturday. the clown has'nt bonded yet, with the anemone.i was given frozen mussles, to feed the anemone. should i just drop the mussel in, after desolving, like feeding the fish? i was told by a friend to soften it up, then feed anemone, by hand. is this necessary?
after the clown bonds with the anemone, can i rely on it to bring the anemone food?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

We feed our anemone fresh / frozen shrimp. I first hold the shrimp and soften it in the tank. If the need arises, I break it into smaller pieces ( feed needs to be about 75% smaller than the anemones mouth) and gently touch it to the anemone tentacles.Once it grabs the food, I withdraw. Yeah I think it's best practice to soften the feed first.

same i use frozen shrimp mainly, i hold it in front of a PH to soften it, tear it into the appropriate size chunks and just kind of toss it at the anenome, he'll grab onto it pretty quickly.

i also use a appropriate size piece of krill, hand feed it every 2-3 days, and although i only have a haitian and rock anemone, they have tripled in size in the last month.

With proper lighting feeding these animals will only increase their growth rates they will also catch floating food in the system also . To manually feed an anemone kept under proper lighting is not required
