I have 2 feather duster worms in my tank. One of the worms has another duster coming out of it's side. Does this mean it is reproducing? Or is this one of those little dusters?

Ok be patient with me. Hubby has the camera. I'm going to try to take a pic with my phone. I doubt it will work. If not I'll post a pic when he gets home. He works seconds so it might be awhile. Thanks in advance for understanding.

OK there is no way I can get a pic with my phone. I'll try to detail the worm and then take a pic when hubby gets home.

I have a larger brown feather duster worm. I actually have 2 one on one rock one on another. The larger one has a small feather duster coming out the side. Kind of like if you had a tree and there is a branch growing out the side. It is larger then the tiny dusters you get as hitchhiker.

I'm sorry if I have confused you...

The one duster I have has 2 heads in it that are the same size and are side by side.

 it happens, quite easily for my small brain. Just sounds like you are the proud parent of another feather duster, and your tank is doing something right :)

I noticed about 6 of the little dusters growing on only 1 specific rock in my entire tank...they must not like the others !!

Will they hurt anything in the tank .....I like to look at them...but don't want a full on outbreak of the little guys !! They look bluish in color with a flashlight
