    ok well my damsal who is my favoirt fish he first cycaled my tank a year ago. well i looked into the tank i havent seen him in a few days, last night i say him and he is lossing his scalls, and breathing extreamly fast. he wont eat and he wont move. no new fish added latly, the tank is a 26 mixxed reef.

    What are your water params? pH? Nitrates? Amonia? temp? salinity?

    A picture might also help. Without this information it's tough to help you out with your sick fish.

    Sorry to hear about the sick fish tho!!!

    Hm - it does sound like an infection as your params seem fine and sounds like the tank is at least a year old? Also, i took a look and it does not seem as though you are way overstocked or anything judging by the pictures in your profile.

    I would treat as tho it's a bacterial infection.

    I unfortunately do not know what the best resolution to a bacterial infection is.

    Thanks for posting the params - that really helps at least to eliminate possibilities.

    acculaly their two fish in the tank now i was holding the other 3 fror a week for some on. and yes the tank is a year old

    Try looking at images of Laterial Line Disease.
