Ok freaking out. Thought it was due to the warmer weather. Came home and tank is at 89.9 degrees. Thought my thermometer was broken so put in another. Nope that one read 90.2. So pulled the heater bam was super hot. So swapped it with a back up. I put a frozen water bottle in my back chamber where my pump is to cool it down. Did I bomb my tank. My stuff looks angry and awful.

Bummer man, need to get the temps down asap. Most can tolerate low 80's but I guess you will have to wait it out to see what happens. What brand heater was it out of curiosity?

Get a fan and have the fan blow over the top of the water, that should help cool it down a little. that has helped me in the past. hope it helps, good luck.

Have a frozen water bottle in there and hood open. Noticed my plate coral and elegance have a brown tentical sticking out of there mouth. That can't be good

The time that the high temp was maintained will be the main problem. 6 or 7 hours could be bad.

+1 on adding fans, and 2 liters filled with cold water/ ice. turn your lights off for now, as they are just going to add heat.

you may want to start running carbon to pick up the nasties of any die-off if there is any... you don't want to put your tank through pollution at the same time it's dealing with the stress of high temps...
