If you plan on setting up a new aquarium and don't want to wait weeks for a cycle, have a look at this video. There's no further reason to wait for a cycle from here out, before adding fish. Check out the video. Dr. Tim's, "One and Only Nitrifying Bacteria."
    One & Only Nitrifying Bacteria

To add: Be sure to listen to his suggestion at the very end for tanks 75 gallons or less.

I have used similar and it seemed to work, I still waited though, but I wouldn't trust it as an 'anti-cycle' device.

I used this in my 10g. A fishless cycle took ~11 days.

You can't compare Dr. Tim's product, with others. Just as he mentions in the video, other products do not use the proper bacteria.

Ah, I didn't hear that, my speakers are broken, I still wouldn't rely on it, but it certainly wouldn't hurt.

I'd rather cycle naturally than introduce bacteria. That way, the bacteria are adapted to tank conditions. Still, I guess it can't hurt.

just a note (try not to sound like a commercial) to say that the bacteria that I grow are from aquaria - that is the key to all my products. We isolate bacteria from our tanks and ponds and then grow them to a high density so you are not adding a 'foreign' or non-aquarium bacteria (which most other companies sell you). Instead you are adding a high concentration of aquarium bacteria.

If it's ok, here's how the Georgia Aquarium cycled their 2 million gallon dolphin exhibit last year. Sorry I could not find out how to embed the video into this post so here is a link
