    Hey All,

Well I'm having another gross bug looking thing crisis. I was looking at my filter media and noticed something moving around in there. I thought at first it was a mysis shrimp my filter sucked up, but then I noticed it was crawling around the filter media. I couldn't get a picture, it would never turn out. But here's my best description:

It is about 1/2mm to 3/4mm. It is a clear-ish color and is oblong in shape. The body has visible horizontal ridges. It has a lot of small legs (6-8?) and two long antenna. Hmmm...I think that's about it.

I mean, seriously? An underwater bug?! Nasty!

That sounds like a pod. They look just like underwater bugs.

If it is a pod, it could be another food source for your fish and inverts :p
