Its a great skimmer if you understand them I have a string in here somewhere with a buddy in Ca. atb a University there they have a propergation system and he has a 2600.. What size tank are you using this 600 on They are a great skimmer but you just jave to understand skimmers to use it it's not injector tye skimmer its a down draft . You get it I'll help you dial it in not many use ETSS here The 600 for a 150 is a great deal if you have the pump to run it.. They require a lot of pump you need to push about 1000 to 1200 GPH through the 600 ..

its for a 135 gallon tank, it can go in or outside the sump, i think i am gunna use it for outside cause of the heat, it comes with a pump.

You have to set it up onto a stand on the sump rim or in the sump it has to be above the water line I just make a tee like from Carbon fiber L channel to fist the skimmers length. That way I have optuins with the outlet water .

I just bought this skimmer from a friend for 200 bucks. It doesn't come with the pump so I will purchase the 1200 to make sure it is enough flow. It did not come with directions though and I was going to look for it on the net. I will keep an eye on this thread and get all the help I can get. lol

Between Tangster and I, we will get that thing dialed in for you. I have an old style 600xr. Roger had to hold my hand through the process, but in the end, it is a great skimmer. congrats.
