    Not the first time he does this, though the first time I saw it it freaked me poopless.

    He becomes lethargic for a couple day prior and after the molt

    Do you have larger shells for him to change? Molting can be quite stressful, and perhaps is even more so if he's already uncomfortable in his current shell and doesn't have any. IMOPE, Hermits (both land and marine) like changing shells; they'll do it quite frequently if they have a few to play with.

    yea he has a few shells to pick from, funny enough he ditched the one that had that parasitic limpet on it and opted for the one its currently in. im always on the look out for nice shells for him though, just cant seem to get my hands on any.

    id love to see him change house but he is very sneaky about it.
