    Gotta feed 'em. When they're small they eat algae, as they mature they like meaty foods. If you're not giving it to them, they'll just take it!

    +1 on the feeding. I target feed mine chunks of silver side and have never had an issue. Remember, they are opportunist, if you make sure they are full you shouldn't have a problem

    The Emerald didn't eat the zoas or the dendro, and there was no algae growing on either one. He just pulled them apart and let the pieces float away. :cry: There was more than enough food for him elsewhere in the tank.
