    Nice addition. Just make sure you feed him phyto several times a week.:)

    They are lovely, and i love the electric lighting it displays, but as said don't forget to feed it. These notoriously have a short lived life in captivity.

    Did you guys know they're not really electric? I haven't seen one in a long time.

    My own flame scallops are doing really well, going on 5 months now but our tanks are kinda special in the nutrient dept. They like to do in an area with good flow. You probably feed it frozen rotifers as well.

    I was drawn to those when I saw them maybe because I am an electrician ::). I heard that the blue flash is just a blue colored membrane in the opening. My LFS had them recently but I did't want to spend any money that day next time they get them in I am gonna get a couple.

    Mine lasted 6 months before it withered away to nothing. :(

    These will usually starve to death slowly

    My husband wanted to get one but we were told that they usually starve to death with in 6 months.. I wish you the best of luck!! They sure are pretty though....
