eel question

    I have a snowflake eel in slight brackish water with some platties and a rainbow shark (eel is about 15" platties are all about 2")
    Havent been able to get the eel to eat any prepared food so he's been on a worm diet
    Been about a month and now i have missing platties, cant seem to find any remains
    Can snowflakes swallow prey whole?
    He tends to chew the red wigglers and nightcrawlers so i was expecting to see fish parts if he went after them

    I have a snowflake eel around the same size. He's in saltwater and I feed him silversides which he eats whole. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the culprit.

    yea I used to have a 2'+ long snowflake eel, their mouths can stretch open pretty big.
