I've read alot about both products and have no idea which one to choose. I want to stat a nice full planted tank and am looking for the best product that I can get. The local fish stores in my area have both and money is not an issue for this tank I'm just looking for the best product I can get. Does anyone have any suggestions for me in this area. ;D

They both work, and both will be excellent substrate for a planted freshwater tank. When I did research into a planted tank I got a lot of recommendations for both. Personally, I would pick the one that is cheaper at the store you shop at.

Thats pretty much the opinion that I've gotten from everyone I've asked about it. Now when I add this stuff ( after I rinse it of course), is the dust and particles going to hurt my pumps at all. And I only ask because I tried using sand and destroyed two very new impellers which was not cool.
