Congrats Todd. Pics when you can get them without bothering the birds.
Working a 13 hr shiftr yesterday.
Looked this morning- The hen was sitting on the eggs/nest and facing the house.
She's really camouflaged in there! It is hard to even see here in there from five feet away, looking thru the shrubs, etc.
She didn't fly away and let me take a look at her, that's a good sign.
I can't get a pic of that, too camo., etc.
I'll be waiting for the duckings!
they'll be soooo cute!
Best pic I could get, kinda dark in the area os where the nest is.
You can see the Mallard hen sitting on her nest with her head/neck folded up also in this pic:
Since the subject of ducklings is apparent here, this is my pet duck Pierre, when she was 3 days old, they are so soft when they are babies! and also her as she matured
your duckling is awfully cute in that picture quack feels weird typing that lol - anyway, is that the origin of your name?
I was hoping this would have ended with breakfast ala duck egg benedicts.... mmmmmmmmm hollandaise sauce
Haha well my middle name is Jacque and went with the french theme! I was hoping for a drake but ended with a hen, fine by me though! She likes to talk to us haha, she is actually imprinted on us as humans so she'll follow us around and what not
Now now Matt, none of that
Separate names with a comma.
