I just tested my dkH & Ca, Levels are -->
    Ca- 400
dkH- 8-9 (My nephew made me lose count by 1 :-/)
My Ca is a lil low so I added some right now. How should I dose Ca & Alk, Because I have heard that dosing Ca can lower Alk, And dosing Alk can lower Ca. Help please, Thanx in advance :)

You also need to know what your Mg is at before bring these parameters up.

you'll need to get one. it's a direct relationship. Salifert Mg test costs slightly more than Red Sea Mg test, but IMO Salifert is way easier to use and way easier to read.

    good luck.

Yeah I'll be buying one soon, But I don't think my MG is that bad because my dkH is always 10 & My Ca is always 450. I justed wanted to know how I should dose them?

you just said your dKH is 8-9... so it's not always 10. Same w/the CA.

When my Mg drops, my Ca and dKH both drop (mostly my Ca).

    Don't guess, test.

How to dose them depends entirely on what your Mg level is. Raising your Mg could very well bring your Ca and dKH back in line.

If you are on a budget, you can use very cheap Epsom salts (from walgreens) for your Mg.

IMO you could always just bump your Mg by 100-200 anyway, I'm not aware of any negative consequences to slightly high Mg and it would help rule out a Mg problem until you can get a Mg test.

I think this is a fine idea. Though don't bump more than 100 in a day.
