In the past, I had some algae and flat worm problems until I boosted the circulation...

Does your aquarium have enough water circulation?

If so, how did you achieve it?

Please add the size of your aquarium too!

I know mine doesn't. I have the 2 Koralia 1's plus the filter and skimmer to give me about a 36X turnover. I want to be at 40-50X. I will be hooking up a fuge shortly which will help, and might also swap out the K1's for 2's if need be

I have 2x 5,800gph HammerHeads moving water in a 265g tank but still fill like I could have more. Is pretty funny to see the fish get blown sideways when they swim in front of a port.

Close to 30X turnover, I still would like to add a lot more.
    6 x 3/4" and 1 x 1" output on the closed loop so it's really diffused

I currently have a 72 gallon bow front.

    I am running:
2 Maxi Jet 1200's with sureflow mods.
    1 Maxi jet 1200 (un-modded for now)

    Return Pump:
    Mag Drive 9.5

No algea issues and good turbulance so I think i am ok.

i think it matters more about how the flow is positioned that makes the most difference. 30x flow in the right spot can be a huge difference from 30x flow in the wrong spot..and also how the flow is distributed makes a huge difference too.
