Urgent Does my linkia starfish look alive or dead??

I cant tell if my linkia starfish is alive or if its dead. I read a lot of blogs and forums about the decaying being a sign of it dying, but i still have hope in it. What do you think Help!!

Unfortunately if that is decay tissue towards the central disk part and it looks like decay on the tip of the arm closest to the glass?
If that is indeed accurate the starfish is on it's way out and should be removed before it decays further in the tank.
Linka's are a very difficult starfish to keep, they need large established tanks with excellent water quality.
