does anyone have yellow acropora

    do you know the hobby and/or scientific name for your species? I am trying to get ahold of a true yellow acro...

    scripps acro is what I believe I have Dingo
    its very bright yellow

    colonial I believe Dingo

    its a bit christmas tree in form lots of branches, closely spaced of a main stem
    I believe I have also seen it described as a Sunset acro

    Yeah for sure. Have you looked at other lighting options? With all the really blue tanks out there I think it's pretty easy to see how yellow corals go green if you know your color wheel. :)
    It might not be realistic to ever get a coral to look very yellow in some tanks that have very blue lighting.

    I run ushio 14k on my tank at home and ushio 14k in the tank on campus. I might be bringing home some corals from the campus tank this thurs and was considering taking one of the bright yellow acros from there... I assume that the same bulb will keep it the same color.

    Pink Lemonade Acro is about as yellow Acropora's get.
