Does anyone have this Refugium lighting?

    Yup, thats what I use allrighty!

    I use a rod suspended inside my tank stand to 'clip' the light to. the rods I use are left over fiberglass tent pole, ~1/4 think. That way, I can slide the rod/lights back and forth for tinkering in my sump/chaeto etc.

    Actually, the chaeto really rocks under the 200W CFL's, and there is next to no heat generated buy these. Cheap, easy, etc.

    would say its an overkill as well for a refu/sump but hey why not

    If you want to produce shimmer effect from your side then go for Metal Slide lightning. You can also try LED lights. Power Compact and T5 are the best lightning used for lightning the tanks.
